En 1878 Prosper Arbeau, fonde la société de négoce de produits agricoles « Arbeau Père et fils ». C’est en 1920 avec l’acquisition de « Château Coutinel », que la famille développe l’activité autour de la production de vin. Plus tard, naîtra la distillerie et bientôt le vin occupera l’essentiel de l’activité de la société. Depuis, plusieurs générations se sont succédées et le goût de la production du vin s’est perpétré. Désormais, par filiation et par amour de la vigne et du vin, Château Coutinel et Vignobles Arbeau poursuivent leur développement grâce à Anne et Géraud Arbeau. Le domaine est certifié AB depuis 2021.
