The Lobo de Vasconcelos Family has been producing wine since the end of the 18th century and built the first winery at the beginning of the 19th century, at Quinta do Casal Branco in Almeirim, Ribatejo region. In the 2oth century acquires Herdade da Perescuma and Herdade do Zambujal do Conde in Alentejo. It currently operates two estates - Herdade da Perescuma, in Vendinha, and Herdade do Zambujal do Conde, in Évora, with more than 1000 hectares, 46 hectares of which are occupied by vineyards. An additional 11 ha are being planted and a further 30 ha are projected in 2022, with a total of 87 ha of vineyards.
