Born from the 2004 harvest, Altas Quintas was established in the heart of the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, home to Portalegre’s most distinctive terroir, an Alentejo sub-region unlike any other. At over 600 meters of altitude, we enjoy ideal soil, temperature, and humidity conditions that allow us to capture the purest expression and freshness of the grape varieties we nurture with care, both in the vineyard and in the winery.
