The wines of the Balearic Islands capture the essence of the Mediterranean, offering unique flavors shaped by their diverse terroir, maritime influence, and native grape varieties like Mantonegro, Premsal, Callet, Giró, and many others. Each island reflect centuries of winemaking heritage and contributes distinct characteristics: Mallorca boasts elegant reds and whites, and fruity rosés, Menorca offers fresh, mineral-driven wines, while Ibiza and Formentera shine with limited yet exquisite productions. Crafted with a balance of tradition and innovation, Balearic wines are celebrated for their quality, sustainability, and the vibrant expression of their island origins. Perfect for pairing with Mediterranean cuisine.

Son Vich de Superna, the highest winery in Mallorca, Spain.
Bodega Son Vich de Superna is the highest winery in Mallorca (Spanish Mediterranean island) located in the mountain Serra de Tramuntana, one of the 6 wine production areas in the world classified by UNESCO.
We have 10 hectares of vineyards, 9 references of wine with PGI "Serra De Tramuntana - Costa Nord" and "Vi de la Terra Mallorca". At the same time, we have the recognition of "Viticoltura Eroica CERVIM" which recognizes mountain and island producers. The varieties worked are the following: Viognier, Mantonegro, Prensal Blanc, Ull de llebre, Gorgollasa, Cabernet sauvignon.
Since 2004, Son Vich de Superna, in the heart of the Tramuntana, has been dedicated to making quality wines. Vineyards with a thick layer of natural vegetation, minimum tillage, reasoned agriculture, the use of the practice of sheep grazing to control weeds and fertilize the plots naturally. This is our way of conceiving viticulture and are also ancestral agricultural traditions of the Serra de Tramuntana.
Our origins go back several generations, working and cultivating the vineyards of Binissalem among the possessions and cellars that for centuries have surrounded Mallorca's wine-growing village par excellence. As a result of this tradition, the project could only be understood in one way: to produce wines with Mallorcan character, native varieties, wines from Binissalem. The viticulture of recent years has been introducing foreign varieties, proclaiming them noble to the detriment of the local ones. Our idea is to break with this trend and demonstrate that Mantonegro can be used to make wines of great representativeness and personality. In 2010 our adventure began, without our own winery, using Mantonegro from our grandfather's estate, recovering the variety and adapting it to modern winemaking methods, with around 700 bottles. In 2012, in an old garage in the centre of the village, the production of Ca'n Verdura wines began, seeking the nuances offered by the different wine-growing areas of the region. During these years, we have been maturing, always maintaining our original essence, character and family tradition, as well as adapting to the demands of each year.
A“small” winery, at human scale and with a manageable extension of vines that enables us to know every palm of soil we cultivate with biodynamic methods. A team that is a small family with whom we share the good and bad moments. Teamwork, enthusiasm and passion for work well done, perseverance, constancy and drive.
With the aim of bequeathing rich, fertile soils to the future generations, we manage our vineyards based on a dialogue with nature: we sowcovers, apply biodynamic compost and preparations and use infusions of medicinal plants. All of these techniques help us to achieve grapes of the highest quality, an expression of the triangle sun-climate-variety.
These are the tools of the little artisans of Mesquida Mora.
Can Majoral is a small, family-owned winery that, driven by the desire and belief that quality wines could be produced in Mallorca—and more specifically in Algaida—began this adventure and a dream in 1979. We couldn't tell you whether it was to experiment, for a hobby, or just to pass the time, but the fact is we began to plant and, little by little, this project has grown in every respect, without ever losing sight of the main objective: to cultivate, produce and market unique, quality wines from organic farming. In this story, the most valuable elements are the invisible components, the meaning, the commitment and the utopias contained in every bottle of wine produced at Can Majoral. You will be able to taste our certified organic wines (the first in Majorca and the second in Spain) truly unique wines from native varieties.
Founded in 1985 by Miquel Gelabert and his wife Maria, Vins Miquel Gelabert is a family-run winery located in Mallorca, Spain. What began as a passion project producing wine for their own restaurant has grown into a celebrated winery known for its commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and innovation.
With a deep respect for tradition, Miquel Gelabert learned the art of viticulture from experienced winemakers and combined this knowledge with modern technology to produce wines that express the unique character of Mallorca’s terroir. Today, the winery consists of 10 hectares of vineyards spread across 14 small plots located in the municipalities of Manacor, Felanitx, and Petra, all within the D.O.P. Pla i Llevant of Mallorca.
At Vins Miquel Gelabert, we are dedicated to producing wines of the highest quality. We control every aspect of the winemaking process, from growing the grapes to fermenting and aging the wines. Our production is limited to 40,000-45,000 liters annually, ensuring that each bottle reflects our passion and dedication to quality.
The winery’s philosophy is rooted in respect for the land, sustainable farming practices, and a commitment to preserving the authenticity of Mallorca’s indigenous grape varieties, such as Callet or Giró Ros. Our wines are crafted with minimal intervention, allowing the natural character of the grapes to shine through.
With over 150 awards in recent years, including numerous gold medals, Vins Miquel Gelabert has gained recognition both in Spain and internationally. We are proud to continue this tradition of excellence and to share the distinctive wines of Mallorca with the world.
We invite you to discover the elegance and complexity of our wines, which offer a true taste of Mallorca in every glass.
